In general, BookmapRecorder is only available to Quant Solution users.

Ah shoot. Thanks for letting me know. That's not a hard blocker for me. But I would probably need to push the work out, given the relatively high license cost.

I would like to vote for multiple instance support. 

My use case is to have one instance recording the live market and one instance available to run in replay mode.

I haven't found the Global Plus tools helpful in equities. The books for mid cap stocks are thin enough that you can spot unusual orders pretty clearly.
