BM Study - Candle stick open without any orders

This screen shot shows the 6.08 candle open (@4.24) but there is no orders at that price between leading up to the candle close time.

How is something like this possible?

If the first order is the first blue bubble (I use blue over green for buy) (@4.40), I would have thought the 6.08 candle would have opened up with a gap.

Your thoughts?

This ticket can close.

Couple things. 
I will assume that the Preceding candle Close will be the the Proceeding Open if no price action has taken place to change these two values. 

Also, in lining up BM candle sticks to other charting platforms, I discovered That I should have my Candlesticks set to OHLC by Trade verses what I was showing, OC by Trade H Ask, L Bid.
