Bookmap forum

I downloaded Bookmap yesterday (Mac), but the connection to Binance is not working. Any other exchange like Bybit, Bitget, etc will work.
Error message is "fatal error". Maybe someone has a tip for me. Thanks! Tom

Please send us by email to support@bookmap.com the screenshot of the error message you get.
Also please send the last common log file from Bookmap->Logs folder. To find Logs folder please open in Bookmap application menu File->Open user folder.

Hi. Binance decided to block US customers from accessing their API. They were rolling out the changes over some interval of time, but looks like right now it's affecting most users. This is outside of our control since their services will simply block your request if you are in certain countries.

I read your messages of 2022, and I have recently installed bookmap and I have the same probelm. It shows a message which says: 'Please check your internet connection. Unable to login. Can't access to binance , please check if nothing is blocking the access to https://api. binance.com.

Any clarification please?

A screenshot of the error message you received.

The last common log file from the Bookmap->Logs folder. To locate this folder, open the Bookmap application menu and go to File->Open user folder.

I didn't recheck, but I don't see why Binance would undo their decision. If they don't want to allow US - it remains blocked. So not sure I understand the question. Message tells you that you can't reach Binance, but it does not know if that's because you have Binance blocked (bad connection) or if Binance blocked you (you are in US).
