No recording of data when market is closed; eliminate dead space

Post by jseaton357 » Fri Oct 30, 2020 2:29 pm

BM still counts a closed mkt as part of the 24 hours of last recording.  BM needs to stop showing dead space and thereby limiting how far back one can scroll to view real data.

This is also important for the construction of trend lines. There can't be any dead space in order to get correct trend lines.

Yes I take it for granted why others would want no dead space (e.g., trend lines can be done in other charting software like TV) but no dead space simply means the ability to see more of the mkt action when zoomed out.

Would just like to add my name to the list of people who would appreciate this.  Even if its just a button that toggles on/off market closed spaces.

Im more concerned about the giant weekend dead space,   the 5pm-6pm Im not too worried about,  but would be nice too I suppose.
