I'd like to request that all drawing objects (lines, boxes, etc) can be dragged and dropped (moved).

Hi oldporkchops,
you can drag them. You've got to pick 'Edit' option in the Drawing tools. Touch an object's border with a mouse pointer.
Put the mouse pointer over the center of the object. Once the mouse pointer turns into drag-n-drop indicator (looks like crossed arrows) you're able to drag your object.
