In Bookmap 7.1, the program allowed scaling to a smaller high res UI, from changing the properties of the program in compatibility settings on Windows. According to support, this was more of an exploitation of Java 8's inability to handle scaling correctly.
It would be nice to have an option in Bookmap 7.2 to scale the resolution so that one may have more heatmap space and smaller text, really helps when sectioning off a monitor to 4 Bookmap windows.

It seems that the public v7.3 version still has this resolution/scaling issue.

Not entirely sure what you mean, are you using an ultra wide or very large screen and manage to get it to scale down?
That would be something I'd check..
Have you tried 7.4 alpha? It has all the latest enhancements and it's pretty stable...

But a old RC/Alpha build of 7.3.xx you still have does not? might be useful info for devs, if you did imply this, if not, then not.
