Bookmap Footprint Needs a Serious Redo

Hey guys. Wanted to give some feedback to the devs on the Footprint add-on for Bookmap. In it's current state, it's pretty much useless!
Footprint is a very valuable tool for scalpers, specially live delta changes, but there is too much going on on the bars when you try to overlay on the Heatmap, even using b/w on Heatmap. The Bar Stats it's hard to read during heavy price action, specially on NQ and ES. The current time period table values can hardly be seen when it starts anew near where the heatmap connects to the COB and price action is dumping.

It would be nice to have the ability to turn off the footprint bars on heatmap, and move the stats bar bellow the Heatmap, where there is a wasted banner space below the timeline, kind of like what Jigsaw add-on looks like. Then it would be much more useful. See screenshots.

Dear Nalonso,

Using background color on the bars can separate the text from the Heatmap. There is Background Type "Full Background Single Color", using that the visibility will increase.
Regarding the bar stats, yes, it is hard see if the chart is not re-rentered, we can consider implementing an option to display it in the bottom chart in a later version, thanks for the recommendation.

I think that the footprint chart needs to be on a separate chart not overlapping the Bookmap main propose, just like footprint was meant to be.

Dear Ignacio,

How do you imagine that? Would you need a separate window next to the Heatmap? How would keep the zooming of the 2 window in sync?

Hi zcsoka,

I've created a post with a more detailed description.

I believe the footprint should be separated from the heatmap for a more accurate and true representation of the actual footprint tool.

I don't think it should be synchronized with the main heatmap tab. It should be independent, like DOM pro.
