Hi Warren, I need some more info.
Q. ... and this looks like this is current to Version 1 only?
What exactly points at Version 1?
Q. I cannot see the above interfaces mentioned in the method definition above
Do I get you right, Eclipse cannot recognize the interfaces? If yes, can you pls attach a screenshot and your project's build.gradle file.

Is there a way to see the API documentation on a mac?  I only see .exe in the link.

1. Go to the «Applications» in Finder
2. Find «Bookmap», press second (right) mouse button on it
3. Choose «Show content folder»
4. After that, go to «Contents/app/lib»
5. Rename to .zip any ...javadoc.jar file you need. Unzip and open index.html
