Hello,
I've been using Bookmap for a week (Global +) and I haven't seen a single iceberg or hidden order, in a market full of hidden orders. I trade in Bitmex. Does anyone know if Bookmap can detect or not iceberg orders under Bitmex or other crypto exchange?. Thanks.

Re: Iceberg orders in crypto markets
Hi Max,
our iceberg detector is optimized for CME futures trading. Icebergs for cryptos behave in a different manner which is individual for any crypto exchange.
That is the reason the detector is disabled for Bitmex. It just will not show anything reasonable enough.
If you need an iceberg detector for Bitmex please create a feature request here.

Re: Iceberg orders in crypto markets
Dear MaxInvest and AndreyR,
Iceberg detection
ref: "Iceberg Orders Tracker" in https://bookmap.com/wiki/Iceberg_Orders_Tracker.
Even though iceberg at the Bid is not visible through thick heatmap in bids,
counting of down trade volume(large red volume dot) hitting the bid without decreasing
the size of best bid, the size of iceberg supports at the best bid is computed.
This could be important signal for support if time and sales begin to show gradual up trade volume(volume dot begins to have
green pie area).
Combining with increasing quote delta of depth 20 in Bitmex, one can front run at the bid (front queue to
maker fee rebate in bitmex).
Bookmap api detects the signal at the best bid, and gives annotation alert for significant support.
