Hi,
I would like to get an idea of how many users are using bookmap for live orders, and do they trust the beta versions.
Or are they mainly using Bookmap alongside their other platforms with the production version.
Also any problems that may have arisen.
I ask because I received an error message when flattening a position a while ago when I was running bookmap next to Sierra Chart, so I rang AMP futures and they said the order had been successfully transmitted, but it was a bit scary.
So whos doing what?
cheers
Bookmap live entry

Re: Bookmap live entry
Hi gruppes,
Sorry for miscommunication. Regarding your specific case - I see that you are using 7.1 according to the error report, so you might want to consider going one version back to 7.0 - those are both beta versions, but 7.0 is closer to becoming a production one (7.0 will most likely not be getting any more feature updates, only bugfixes, while 7.1 will continue being expanded).
In general - many use live trading, so it's reasonably stable. That being said, when using a beta version it's best to first try trading a bit in broker-side simulation (so it looks like real trading to bookmap) - this way you can check that whatever you typically do during trading doesn't hit some rarely-used functionality containing an issue that was not addressed yet.
If you need assistance with specific crash or want to provide additional information to speed up the resolution - please contact the support team at [email protected], as Sandra mentioned above
