Please check which version/build exactly you are running (in Help->About). 

I'm running version 7.2.0 build:23
 

I don't have a heatmap dimming slider below the dropdown heatmap color selector.  I don't see it in the heatmap settings either.  Tom B. shows that he has one.  Just wondering why I don't have one.  Also, I checked for recent updates and I'm running the most recent.
