Re: Time and Sales

Ah, so there was no bookmap there? But from what I can see - platforms probably aggregate events differently. On the left you can see raw events, in the middle - looks like events are aggregated + somehow filtered (I know Rithmic shows implied order book, i.e. one from spreads integrated, not sure i...

Re: Time and Sales

I don't have an explanation for CQG vs Rithmic (since there are no multiple exchanges there). Could you please post a screenshot with those two side by side? Just make sure T&S settings are the same. I have some guesses (related to settings) but want to see it first.

Re: can I get Rithmic data directly as a datafeed for bookmap?

Hi. Sure. Don't check the "plugin mode" checkbox then) The only thing you actually need is a Rithmic account that is enabled for Bookmap (there are some cases where it might be disabled, but usually it's not; if it is - contact your broker), then bookmap can directly connect to it. Just keep in mind...

Re: Computer Configuration for Trading

Doubling RAM most likely will not do much. Bookmap will only be able to take very minimal advantage of it in few very particular cases.

Re: Computer Configuration for Trading

Please note that removing "main" tools like heatmap/dots is not expected to have any noticeable performance impact. About Correlation tracker - we are considering doing something about it (we know how to solve it, but need to get to actually doing that). About an upgrade from I-7 9700 KF to I-9 1090...

Re: Interceptor of the trade events

Hi. If you want to rewrite downstream events (from UI to provider) - take a look at this: https://github.com/BookmapAPI/DemoStrategies/blob/master/Strategies/src/main/java/velox/api/layer1/simpledemo/largeordersfilter/LargeOrdersFilter.java It just blocks large orders, but you could do something els...

Re: Computer Configuration for Trading

Hi. Some info for TomB and for those watching the thread - as you probably noticed, yesterday there was a lot of volatility. We did observe different situations (network not keeping up due to package loss, low end computers not keeping up, etc), but there was one relevant to this thread: there were ...

Re: Computer Configuration for Trading

The issue with LTPro (which is what you sent) belongs to different thread, please create one if needed. I'll also check what it is internally.

About the videos - send those to support@bookmap.com, please, and ask to forward to Svyatoslav.

Re: Computer Configuration for Trading

Unfortunately 7.0 will not work with SI 3.0, but I'm not suggesting that you move to it permanently - just try it an let me know if that helps. If it does - we'll consider making buffering switchable in 7.1 so you'll be able to just toggle a menu checkbox to make it "work like 7.0" in that regard. I...

Re: Computer Configuration for Trading

Hm... Could you try describing "jerkiness"? How often, for how long? Does it happen in "none" mode when not interacting with bookmap? (I think you said it does, but to confirm) I mean, I've seen a case where it was jumping every few seconds (like if 2 frames were swapped, which is probably what happ...
