Re: Rithmic Delay Message

Are you asking if there is a way to configure R Trader to pass data faster? I am not aware of any way to do that. In cases where R Trader is a bottleneck (which it might or might not be - e.g. if your network is a bottleneck, then having plugin mode on or off does not matter) connecting directly sho...

Re: Rithmic Delay Message

Red text means ingested data is delayed already. When bookmap itself does not keep up (case 3) symptoms typically look like bookmap postponing recentering (which can look like freezing) as a last effort to catch up. While it's possible to delay data ingest by in-process issues, it's not something we...

Re: Screen Space Painter Tools / APIs

Not really. Screen Space Painter extension (same as some other extensions) can be used from both Simplified and Core API in a similar way.

Re: Using HistoricalDataModeListener

It's not larger, it's a development snapshot. x.x.1.x builds are development builds, those can't be directly compared to release ones (x.x.0.x)

Also make sure to switch repository from http://maven.bookmap.com/maven2/develop/ to http://maven.bookmap.com/maven2/releases/ to use release branch.

Re: Actual API doc availability

Hi. We now have it available online:
Core: javadoc.bookmap.com/maven2/releases/com/bookmap/api/api-core/7.2.0/
Simplified: javadoc.bookmap.com/maven2/releases/com/bookmap/api/api-simplified/7.2.0/
Links automatically point to latest build within the version (or at least should point)

Re: MBO Order Book Management Questions

Hi. Re 1: trades with size=0 should come with TradeInfo#isExecutionEnd==true. Those are markers for the end of reconstructed trade. However I'm not sure how you get tradeInfo==null as I'd expect bookmap to crash before it delivers such tradeInfo to you. If you could attach a short example that demon...

Re: Stop and Iceberg Tracker Crash

Hi. Are you sure you are loading 3.1.4.1 and not 3.1.4? That's exactly what should have been fixed in 3.1.4.1 and based on what I can see it actually does not contain a line from your exception. If you are certain that was 3.1.4.1 - please attach bookmap log file and we'll look into that more closely.

Re: Any ways to distinguish bracket orders from other orders?

Yes. But if your goal isn't just listen but to modify the data - you should use Data Editor module instead: https://github.com/BookmapAPI/DemoStrat ... tor-module as normal injected modules can't rewrite upstream events (that will cause weird effects)

Re: DTC Protocol

Unfortunately this is not allowed by Sierra. So at this point this is not possible from the legal side, despite technically not being hard to implement. It's unlikely to change in the future. Here is part of the response that we got when we tried to add it (we referred to certain topics on Sierra fo...

Re: Any ways to distinguish bracket orders from other orders?

For the ones sent from within bookmap you might be able to use "inject" mode for your addon (core api) and listen for sendOrder calls. You would be able to see SimpleOrderSendParameters#takeProfitClientId and stopLossClientId, which you'd later find in TP/SL orders. However that would only work on s...
