Difference Between Versions

Bookmap offers three different versions: Production, Beta, and Alpha. Each version receives regular updates with bug fixes.

Production: This version is the most stable and does not include new features until they have been tested in the Beta version. It has been available for the longest time and does not contain known bugs. Download the current production version here
Beta: The Beta version undergoes user testing and becomes a Production release after successful testing. Download the current beta version here
Alpha: This includes the latest features, but it may be less stable due to the ongoing addition of new features. Download the current alpha version here

Bookmap provides automatic updates, and you will receive notifications when a new version is released.

A gradual rollout procedure is applied to most beta builds, ensuring that new builds are not distributed to everyone simultaneously. This helps prevent widespread issues if a significant problem arises. If you experience any issues with a beta build, make sure you have the latest version.
If you want to receive early builds, you can opt in by checking the Help >> Update >> Get new builds early option. This informs the auto-update system that you wish to receive builds ahead of those who did not select this option.
