Tell us a little about your story and how you became a trader.

 

Before becoming a trader, I had a company in the electricity sector, and the products I sold were all linked to financial markets and commodities. That always kept me tuned in to things, and that’s why I ended up trading some shares in the electricity sector.

 

I gradually got to know other assets, and then I started trading futures. This was in 2012, and in 2014 I decided to trade the markets for a living, and to this day I’m still in the game. Of course, I owe that a lot to Bookmap, as well.

 

How did you discover Bookmap?

 

In 2014 I saw a video on Youtube and I was fascinated by the platform, and ever since then I have never been without it.

 

What do you trade?

 

As I am Brazilian, I trade on B3 and also trade the Forex Market.* My preferred pairs are EUR/USD and JPY/USD. 

 

Of course, I also trade in the biggest market on the planet: the CME, and my favorite assets are the ES and NQ indices. I also really enjoy trading Gold (GC), and Crypto too.

 

What was your lightbulb moment?

 

When I understood the meta game and that liquidity is the oxygen of the market, it took me to another level.

 

The powerful tool that is Bookmap allows me to trade any asset in the world, as long as it provides me with market depth data.

 

Do you have any tips for newer traders?

 

The tip I give is, before trading any asset, acquire technical knowledge, and understand as soon as possible that risk management is essential to trade in any market.

 

I also recommend psychology books, after all the great villain is our emotion.

 

Which Bookmap feature was the biggest contributor to your success?

 

The heatmap, without a doubt. This is fundamental and makes me completely dependent on the platform. With Bookmap I can see the real intention and movement of the big players. 

 

If one day Bookmap didn’t exist anymore, I would be completely lost!

 

What are your bigger-picture goals in trading?

 

My goal is to always be a top performer, to follow the market clearly and with complete logic. 

 

After all, the market is unpredictable, and given the current market environment, only those who strictly follow a trading plan survive.

 

What indicators do you use in Bookmap and why?

 

For the Brazilian market I don’t use any indicator, I created support columns for everything that bookmap provides and just adapted it to my setup. 

 

For the American market, I use the MBO Package.

 

How long have you been trading?

 

10 years.

 

Do you partake in any other activities other than trading markets?

 

Today I live 100% in the market, and a short time ago we founded Mercante Educacional, a startup with the objective of training professional traders. 

 

Our mission here at Mercante is to teach everyone from the beginner to experienced trader, and of course to show the power of the Bookmap platform.

 

Would you recommend Bookmap for beginners?

 

Certainly, if a beginner starts with Bookmap, the probability of succeeding in trading is very high.

Conte-nos um pouco da sua história e como se tornou um Trader.

 

Antes de me tornar um trader, eu tinha uma empresa no setor elétrico, e os produtos que eu comercializava estavam todos atrelados ao mercado financeiro, commodities. E isso sempre me deixava antenado nas coisas, e por isso eu acabei iniciando negociando algumas ações no setor elétrico, e fui aos poucos conhecendo outros ativos e outras modalidades, e na sequência comecei a negociar futuros, isso iniciou em 2012, e em 2014 eu decidi viver de mercado e até hoje estou no game, e claro devo isso muito também ao Bookmap.

 

Como você descobriu o Bookmap?

 

Em 2014 eu vi um vídeo no Youtube e fiquei fascinado com a Plataforma, e de lá  pra cá nunca mais fiquei sem ela.

 

O que você comercializa?

 

Como eu sou brasileiro, eu comercializo em B3 e também opero o Mercado de Forex e meus ativos preferidos são EUR/USD e JPY/USD. E claro, comercializo no maior mercado do planeta CME e meus ativos preferidos são os índices ES e NQ, e também gosto muito de operar o Ouro (GC). E negócio também Crypto.

 

Qual foi seu momento Lâmpada?

 

Quando compreendi o meta jogo e que a liquidez é o oxigênio do mercado, isso me colocou em outro nível. E a poderosa ferramenta que é o Bookmap me permiteoperar qualquer ativo do mundo, desde que me forneça os dados da profundidade do mercado.

 

Você tem alguma dica para os Traders mais novos?

 

A dica que eu dou é, antes de negociar qualquer ativo, adquira conhecimento técnico, e entenda o quanto antes que o Gerenciamento de Risco é fundamental para negociar em qualquer mercado. Recomendo também livros de psicologia emocional, afinal o grande vilão é o nosso emocional.

 

Qual recurso do Bookmap foi o maior contribuinte para o seu sucesso comercial?

 

Heatmap com absoluta certeza, isso é fundamental e me torna completamente dependente da Plataforma. Com o Bookmap eu consigo enxergar a real intenção e movimentação dos Grandes Players. Se um dia não existir mais o Bookmap, eu estou completamente perdido!

 

Quais seus objetivos gerais na Negociação?

 

Meu objetivo é estar sempre em alta performance, seguir com clareza e com a total razão no mercado, afinal o mercado é imprevisível, e diante do cenário atual, permanece vivo quem segue à risca o planejamento de negociações.

 

Quais indicadores você utiliza da Bookmap? e Porque?

 

Para o mercado Brasileiro não utilizo nenhum indicador, eu criei colunas de apoio a tudo que o Bookmap fornece e apenas adaptei dentro do meu operacional. E para o mercado americano, utilizo o Pacote MBO.

 

A quanto tempo você negocia?

 

10 anos.

 

Você tem outra atividade além do Mercado?

 

Hoje eu vivo 100% do mercado. E a pouco tempo fundamos a Mercante Educacional, uma startup com o objetivo de formar Traders profissionais. Nossa missão aqui na Mercante é ensinar desde o iniciante e até a pessoa com um nível de conhecimento maior, e claro mostrar o Poder da Plataforma Bookmap.
