Multibook FAQ
Why are volume dots appearing outside of the BBO line?
Multibook synthetic instruments combine data from several exchanges. Each exchange will have slightly different prices (even for the same instrument).
Due to the difference in price and order book structure, it’s perfectly normal for the consolidated synthetic instrument to display volume dots outside of the BBO.
What's the difference between Multibook Desktop, Multibook Web, and Multibook Customizer?
Multibook Desktop provides you with a fixed selection of synthetic instruments, delivered via our exclusive Bookmap data feed. It requires Bookmap v7.3+ and allows you to import historical data.
Multibook Web is similar to Multibook Desktop but delivered through our Bookmap Web interface.
The Multibook Customizer add-on gives you the power to create any synthetic instrument you want but does not allow historical data import.
The following table outlines the main differences between Multibook Desktop, Multibook Web, and Multibook Customizer:
Can I trade with Multibook Desktop?
