Candlestick View
Bookmap offers a candlestick view of the price, which can be overlaid on the heatmap view, combining the traditional price view with market depth information. This integrated perspective helps traders familiar with candlesticks and enhances performance through multi-disciplinary analysis.
Setting Up Candlesticks:
- Click the studies icon above the chart.
- Choose "candlestick bars".
- Adjust attributes by selecting the candlesticks box in the studies panel. Then, modify the parameters on the right.
Parameters Include:
- OHLC display based on trades or a mix of trades and bid-ask prices.
- Candlestick bar width and interval.
- Layering VWAP information for the candlestick's specific time period.
